Rules & Guidelines

We hope you have an enjoyable and safe visit. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with our Park Rules as well as some general information.

All campers are governed by the bylaws of Cabri Regional Park. The conditions below reflect some, but not all of Cabri Regional Park bylaws.  The bylaws in their entirety may be viewed at the Park Office, or the Cabri Town Office

GENERAL PARK INFORMATION

  • A Regional Park pass is required for all park patrons.

  • Campers must register at the park office before camping. You must be 19 years of age to rent a campsite. Check out time is 11 a.m.

  • QUIET TIME IS 12:00 AM TO 8:00 AM. No person shall act in an offensive manner by fighting, disorderly conduct, loud use of vile language, as to offend or cause a disturbance to any other person using or occupying the park. The person(s) so registered are responsible for the conduct of visitors and guests.

  • The Park Authority may issue a fire ban in times of high or extreme fire hazard conditions. During a fire ban, no fires using combustible materials are allowed. ie: wood, paper, charcoal, gas, etc. or any fire that may produce a spark. Propane barbeques and propane fire rings are allowed.

  • Parking is only allowed in designated areas. We do not permit parking on the grass, in the roadways or in campsites.

  • Campers leaving their camping units or other belongings in the campsite unattended will be doing so at their own risk. The Park Authority accepts no responsibility.

  • We do not allow unauthorized vehicle: side-by-sides, dirt bikes, golf carts, ATVs or other similar recreational vehicles.

  • Swimming is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty at any time.

  • Fireworks and firecrackers allowed with permission.

  • It is illegal to have cannabis or open alcohol in your possession in any public area of the park (beach, walking paths, etc). Cannabis or alcohol consumption is restricted to registered campsites only.

  • There will be absolutely no removal of or trimming of trees, shrubs or undergrowth from the campground without the approval of the Park Manager.

DOGS

In order for Cabri Regional Park to remain a pet-friendly park, we require the strict cooperation of all dog owners.

  • There are no off-leash areas in Cabri Park. The Park boundaries include all beach areas. Pets must be kept leashed, attended and controlled at all times within the Park boundaries, and also within confines of the renter’s site. Your dog must be tethered within your site, and that tether must not allow the dog to leave the boundaries of your site. Dog waste must be picked up immediately, this includes within the renter’s site. Any damage caused by the pets will be the responsibility of the renter. 

  • The Park Authority reserves the right to determine if the pet is a nuisance or a danger to other people at the Park. In this situation the Park Authority has the right to see that the pet is removed from the Park.

BOATS AND MARINA

  • Please pay your boat launch fees at the park office.

  • Please remove your boat trailer promptly to the designated areas.

  • Do not tow tubes or water skiers into the marina area.

  • Please observe the “no wake” of 10km when entering the beach area and marina.

  • All boat docks in the marina are private. We do not have any docks available to the general public o If you leave your boat at a private dock, we will ask you to move it. If we are unable to locate you, we will move your boat for you. In this event, neither the manager nor park authority accepts any responsibility or liability to any damage which may occur to your property.

  • Seasonal dock owners are required to have their names clearly displayed on their dock. They must maintain their dock and keep the area around their dock clean and the grass cut.

CAMPSITES

  • You are responsible for your guests, their behaviour and any activities that take place at your site regardless if you are present or not.

  • You must use a sewer connector adaptor to the sewer lines. These are available from the park manager.

  • You may not park your vehicle, boat or boat trailer in your campsite.

  • You are allowed to drive your vehicle on the grass to your site for the purpose of loading or unloading your vehicle. Please limit your loading or unloading time to no more than ½ an hour.

  • Outside of your trailer, we only permit environmentally friendly mats which allow grass to grow.

  • Tents for dependent children are allowed. Please move the tent occasionally to preserve grass.

  • Please keep your site clean. Place your recyclables in the designating containers.

  • For everyone’s safety, please do not bring glass beer bottles into the park.

  • Health regulations do not allow grey water to run into trees or onto park property.

  • All vehicles in the Park including trailers must be insured.

  • Campers leaving their camping units or other belongings in the campsite unattended will be doing so at their own risk. The Park Authority accepts no responsibility.

  • One camping unit (RV) is allowed on your site. RV’s must be within the boundaries of your rented site.   All camping units must remain completely mobile. Nothing permanent may be constructed.

  • Air conditioners and other onsite appliances must be operated responsibly. All air conditioners must be completely shut off if the renter is away from the site for an extended period.

ELECTRICAL

  • We provide 30 amp service only.

  • If you have extra appliance such as a fridge or freezer you must plug these directly into your own trailer. If the appliances are outside they must be locked, placed off the ground and meet with manager’s approval.

  • Please do not leave the air conditioner running if you are not in your trailer. If you leave the park with your air conditioner running, it may be necessary for the park manager to disconnect your trailer from the power source.

CAMPFIRES

  • You may provide your own firewood or purchase firewood from the park manager. We do not allow the cutting of trees, shrubs or any park property for this purpose.

  • Please do not place garbage in the fire rings.

  • Please do not move the fire rings. If you must do so, contact the park manager for assistance o All fires must be extinguished before retiring or vacating your campsite.

  • Campfires are not allowed at unregistered sites.

  • Children must be supervised at all times around the campfires.

SEASONAL CAMPERS

  • Please notify the manager of your expected arrival and departure dates and if your site will be available for daily renting at any time during the season.

  • You are responsible for the upkeep of your site. You must keep the grass cut and weeds removed. Please remove trash and recyclables regularly. If the Park staff must cut your grass, you may be charged a fee.

  • Seasonal Renters shall not rent, sell, sublet, assign, or otherwise transfer the assigned site.  Seasonal Renters are responsible for their guests, even if the seasonal renter is not present on their site.

  • It is the Seasonal Renter’s responsibility to assure that overnight guests, if using their own tents on the site, pay a daily camping fee and possess a Park pass for their vehicle.

  • At the end of the season absolutely all personal effects must be removed from the campsite. Anything left behind becomes the property of the Park.

  • The Seasonal Camper has the right to their designated seasonal site in perpetuity as long as they have paid their seasonal fees in full by the designated date. If you do not pay your fees, your site will be deemed available for a new Seasonal Camper.

  • All staff, contractors hired by the Park, board members and other campers must be treated with respect and courtesy at all times. Abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.

If you have any questions or concerns about our policies, please feel free to contact the managers or any member of the Cabri Regional Park authority. The Cabri Regional Park managers have the vested authority to enforce all rules as stated. The managers have the right to decide the appropriate measures to take in any given situation.
